Ctrl+Enter makes teams
Split a class, a club or a group of friends into fair, random teams in seconds.
A list holds up to 500 people. More has Titles, Sort A to Z, Hide gender and labels, and Remove everyone (with Undo).
Open Grouping. Set the Number of teams, or people per team and the number of teams follows. People are shared out as evenly as possible.
Balance each team by Gender gives every team as even a mix as possible. Set each person to male or female in the list. Label does the same with labels A to F, for skill levels, grades or anything else you want spread across teams.
Show gender or label in teams marks each name in the results.
Press Make teams or Ctrl+Enter. Names drop into their teams one by one, then the Teams board opens.
Settings sets how long grouping and picking leaders take, and turns sound and confetti on or off.
Choose Grouping: People join with a link, set how many will join (or how many men and women, to balance by gender) and the teams, then press Create join link.
Each person who opens the link types their name and spins a wheel of the teams with places left, and lands in one at random. Your page fills in as they join. Close link stops new joins, and Move them into my list lets you regroup everyone yourself.
Every list you edit is saved in Files in this browser. New list starts a blank one. Share makes a link to a copy of your list and settings. The buttons under the teams hide the list or show the teams full screen, for a projector.
Yes. Teams are drawn with your browser's cryptographic random number generator, and every split with the sizes you chose is equally likely. On a join link, the server picks each team with exactly the odds the wheel shows.
